Civil & Rural Engineer with extensive experience in the integrated water cycle, covering everything from project design and execution to the management and optimization of hydraulic infrastructures.
I have worked with Water Authorities such as the Tagus River Basin Authority (CHT) and the Guadalquivir River Basin Authority (CHG), as well as managing WWTPs for public entities like ESAMUR, EMASESA, and Castilla-La Mancha Water Infrastructure.
During my time in Murcia, I earned a PhD in non-conventional water sources, specializing in wastewater reuse and seawater desalination. My research at UPCT has been published in high-impact journals, and I have continued collaborating with research centers such as CEBAS-CSIC.
Since 2013, I have combined my professional work with teaching at universities such as Seville (US), Jaume I (UJI), and Córdoba (UCO), delivering courses on project management and water governance. Currently, I am a professor and researcher at US, teaching project-related courses and exploring sustainable water strategies.
